There are number of free hosting plans out there to choose from.  However, just because something is free doesn&#8217;t always mean you should go with it.  In fact, in this situation free web hosting is not the answer you need for your business site or your personal site.  There are a handful of free hosting sites that have evolved over the years and I will show you why you should go with paid hosting.<\/p>\n<p>So first, at glance free hosting appeals to you.  It is free and everyone wants to save money.  But, saving that little amount of money you could spend on a paid hosting plan can be detrimental to your site.  So why is it bad for your site; grab a cup of coffee, because I am about to show you.<\/p>\n<p>When you sign up for free hosting you are taking all the control over your site.  You do not have any control over your server, because it is free.  So it is true you really do get what you pay for.  Which in this case is not much.  You don&#8217;t have the flexibility to add domains, email accounts, sub-domains, ect.<\/p>\n<p>Also, a paid hosting service will come with an alloted amount of bandwidth.  With this free service you are only allowed a tiny bit of bandwidth.  Usually, about 1 GB or even less.  It doesn&#8217;t take much before you see a bandwidth exceeded error.  When your visitors see that they can&#8217;t access your page Your site is pretty much locked until the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p>With aside from the limited bandwidth that you get you are not allowed very much space.  In fact, from the research I have done you will get about 25- 50 MB of space.  This is almost nothing.  With a lot of hosting providers you can get 300 GB of space to an unlimited amount.<\/p>\n<p>Also, you don&#8217;t get any customer support.  Well, actually you might get a little of customer service, but you will have to fill out a support ticket.  This will take 1 week or so for their limited customer service to respond to you.  Most of the time their staff really doesn&#8217;t help out much or their service is from a third world country.<\/p>\n<p>However, with a paid hosting company you will get the service that you need for your hosting package.  In fact, from the research I have done most companies offer 24\/7 support.  They will generally have a toll free number where you can reach their agents to answer any issues you might be having with their service.
