I ordered an SSL or static IP and now my site is down.

When you order a SSL we assign a static IP to your account. A static IP is required for securing the traffic between your website visitors and your website. The SSL encrypts the session between the visitor and your site. When we assign a static IP, the new information about where the site is located has to propagate across the internet, this will usually take about four hours.
